Mahkota polls: Syed Hussien will supercharge development in constituency if elected, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: Syed Hussien Syed Abdullah would bring increased development to Mahkota if he wins the by-election, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president said that Syed Hussien, who is the Barisan Nasional candidate, would supercharge the constituency's development agendas with his experience and qualifications.

"This is the advantage of Syed Hussien from Barisan, who is the best candidate for Mahkota.

"He reflects the hopes and aspirations of all of us.

"As Kluang Umno Youth chief, he has long worked hard for the local community.

"His attitude is committed and full of integrity, while his ability to echo the voices of the people to greater heights is evident, and he can take up the responsibility.

"He will bring agendas on welfare and development to a higher level," said Dr Wee in a video posted on Facebook.

Dr Wee also urged the people not to fall for racial politics, which would cause disunity among people.

Polling day for the Mahkota by-election has been set for Sept 28.
