SHAH ALAM: A total of 24 individuals, including the top guns of Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB), had their remand extended for four days.
The senior leadership include GISB chief executive officer and his wife.

Magistrate Mohamad Redza Azhar Rezali and Magistrate Muhammad Syafiq Sulaiman issued the remand extensions for the suspects until Saturday (Sept 28).
All 24 individuals aged between 25 and 65 were previously remanded for seven days since Sept 19.

They were represented by lawyer Rosli Kamaruddin.
Police personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the General Operations Force (GOF), armed with weapons, were seen at the Shah Alam court complex.

More than 300 individuals have been detained in police raids of 20 care homes linked to GISB since Sept 11.
Police also rescued 572 children in the operation codenamed Ops Global.
