Mahkota polls: It's polling day, voters to cast their ballots


KLUANG: A total of 61, 397 voters will cast their ballots in the Mahkota state by-election on Saturday.

Polling will be from 8am to 6pm and a total of 109 polling stations have been made available at 20 centres.

The counting of votes will take place at Dewan Tunku Ibrahim Ismail here.

The by-election is a straight fight between Syed Hussien Syed Abdullah, 40, of Barisan Nasional (BN) and Mohamad Haizan Jaafar, 61, of Perikatan Nasional (PN).
