Cops tracking down Sitiawan's paint-splashing culprit


IPOH: Three cars parked in front of a house in Sitiawan have been splashed with red paint, believed to be the work of loan sharks.

Manjung OCPD Asst Comm Hasbullah Abd Rahman said a 42-year-old man lodged a report on Sunday (Sept 29) around 5.30am.

"He said the red paint was splashed on the cars at Taman Muhibbah by an unknown person.

“Based on our investigations, eyewitnesses saw two men in a car passing by the area several times but they were unable to get the vehicle's registration number," he added.

He said a notice attached with the photocopy of a MyKad photo of a man, was pasted on the wall in front of the house.

“The Mykad is not that of the person who lodged the police report,” he said.

He urged those with information to contact investigating officer Sjn Muhamad Fairez Zulkafli at 011-57617485 or the control centre at 05-688 6222.
