Anwar congratulates MACC on its 57th anniversary


KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Tuesday (Oct 1) congratulated the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on its 57th anniversary.

In a Facebook post, Anwar expressed hope that the Commission would continue its unwavering efforts and commitment to eradicating corruption in the country.

The MACC marks its founding anniversary on Tuesday.

The Commission was established to replace the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA), which was formed on Oct 1, 1967. – Bernama
