Tunku Ines ready to shine in the music scene

ROYAL lineage and noble status are no barriers for Her Highness Tunku Ines Najihah Raden as she embraces the challenge of entering the entertainment industry as a professional singer, Kosmo! reported.

The daughter of Tunku Panglima Besar Negri Sembilan Tunku Datuk Seri Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar and Tunku Datuk Seri Mimi Wahida Wahman is well aware of the inevitable whispers questioning her swift entry into the music scene.

Tunku Ines, 20, who prefers to be addressed simply by her first name, remains undeterred by the remarks, particularly those surrounding her royal background.

She seeks to be judged not by her lineage but by her vocal talent, which has been her passion since childhood.

“I understand that people may say I entered the industry due to my royal bloodline but I aim to prove my worth through hard work and my debut single.

“I sincerely hope people will focus on my talent and vocal abilities rather than my background.

“I can’t stop people from making assumptions, but I will show them that they are wrong,” she told the daily.

When asked about her family’s support, she expressed gratitude for their unwavering encouragement.

“My family has never imposed any conditions for me to become an artist. They’ve been supportive, as long as I maintain good intentions and uphold the family’s reputation,” she said.

Tunku Ines’ debut single is titled Andai, composed by Edry Abdul Halim.

> Azmani Mohd Isa’s musical journey has been nothing short of eventful, marked by both setbacks and perseverance, Harian Metro reported.

His career began in 1990 with the release of his first album as part of the band Positif.

However, it wasn’t until 1992, when he began a solo career with the hit Sebenar Cinta, that he gained wider recognition.

Azmani produced two more albums in 1995 and 1997 with the band Kulit before stepping away from the industry.

“I decided to quit as I felt that my time in music wasn’t meant to be.

“I returned to my hometown in Kelantan and started a business which has been sustaining me to this day,” he said.
