Cops submit investigation papers on US Embassy protest to public prosecutor


KUALA LUMPUR: The police have submitted the investigation papers concerning a protest at the United States Embassy to the deputy public prosecutor.

When contacted, Wangsa Maju OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Lazim Ismail confirmed that the papers were sent on Wednesday (Oct 2).

On Sept 30, seven individuals gathered to protest against the Israeli occupation of Palestine in front of the US Embassy.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa earlier stated that the group did not provide any notice to the police regarding the protest.
