FANS of Jay Chou, the King of Mandopop, shared tongue-in-cheek views about their willingness to crawl through the sewers of his concert venue just to hear him sing as his shows are often sold out, Sin Chew Daily reported.
Chou, 45, is slated to perform at the Taipei Arena from Dec 5-8, but his fans were pessimistic about their chances of getting tickets.
Previous concerts of his were sold out in a matter of minutes.
A fan made a joke online that he was planning to get to the concert through the sewers underneath Taipei Arena. He started an event page on social media, encouraging others to join him in finding a way to get to the venue on Dec 5.
The event page received more than 28,000 responses.
“Does anyone have the blueprint showing the sewers at Taipei Arena? Please share them with us,” one user quipped.
Others joked that ticket scalpers would even begin to sell tickets to Chou’s performance from the sewers.
