Police nab four for house break-in in Tanjung Kupang


ISKANDAR PUTERI: Police have arrested four suspects, including two women, in connection with a house break-in at Tanjung Kupang.

Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm M. Kumarasan reported that authorities received a report about the incident at around 10.12pm on last Monday (Sept 30).

Based on the information gathered, police conducted a raid on a house in the same area at approximately 3.15am on Tuesday (Oct 1), leading to the arrest of two men and two women.

Further investigations revealed that the suspects, aged between 43 and 50, had three members with prior criminal records, and the two male suspects tested positive for drugs.

ACP Kumarasan said that among the items seized during the operation were two mobile phones, a wristwatch, a laptop, a printer, a gold chain, a television projector unit, a pair of sports shoes, two helmets, two Bluetooth speakers, an internet router, a motorcycle key, and various health products.

The suspects have been remanded until Oct 12 to assist with the investigation under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
