His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim receives call from King Charles, discusses 27th CHOGM meeting


KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia received a pleasant surprise on Thursday (Oct 10) when he received a call from Britain's head of state King Charles III.

According to His Majesty, the call between the two leaders focused on the forthcoming 27th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) later this month.

The meeting is expected to be held in Apia, Samoa, from Oct 21 to 26, 2024.

“King Charles III also conveyed to Sultan Ibrahim his best regards to the people of Malaysia,” the post shared on His Majesty’s official Facebook page on Thursday read.
