Four missing tahfiz students found safe in Bangi


KUALA LUMPUR: Four tahfiz students who went missing recently have been found safe.

Wangsa Maju OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Lazim Ismail said the four were found by the public at 11.58pm on Thursday (Oct 10).

"They were walking around Kampung Bangi in Kajang and someone found them and handed them over to the Bangi police station.

"They are now undergoing medical check-ups at Kuala Lumpur Hospital," he said in a statement on Friday (Oct 11).

All four students will be reunited with their respective families once the check-ups are completed.

"We are investigating the matter further. We urge the public not to speculate about the case or share unverified information as it could jeopardise the investigation," he said.

The four students of Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah went missing on Tuesday (Oct 8).
