Flood victims in Johor receive food, supplies from Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: Seventeen flood-affected families received some much-needed supplies when they were by Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president brought some basic necessities and food items to the families who had been displaced and were staying at the SK Sri Bunut temporary relief centre.

The victims were from nearby Kampung Talang Bunut, Kampung Olak Batu and Kampung Parit Nipah Laut in Parit Raja, Johor.

"Currently, flood waters have yet to recede so I brought some necessities and food items to them and the staff at the centre to check on their wellbeing.

"Hopefully the flood will recede soon and they will be able to return home soon," said Dr Wee on Facebook on Saturday (Oct 12).
