Students waving China flag in Penang school are not Malaysians, says Fahmi

KUALA LUMPUR: The students who were seen waving the China flag at a private school in Penang in viral images recently, are not Malaysian citizens, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

He said the matter was clarified by Penang tourism and creative economy committee chairman Wong Hon Wai, who stated that the students in question were part of a group of 33 students from China studying at the Chun Ling Private Secondary School.
