A 30-YEAR-OLD woman was trapped inside a deep well for one week after being pushed into it by her husband, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The ordeal began when Sayina Khan, who lives in Thiruppur city of India’s Tamil Nadu state, had an argument with her husband.

Apparently, her husband Abibullah Khan, 33, pushed her into the 50-foot well and left her there with no food or water.

He even threw a large rock at Sayina, who miraculously survived the fall but sustained extensive injuries.

She was rescued when the land owner of the coconut farm where the couple worked went to check the water level of the well after the recent rains.

He was shocked to find an injured woman in the well. He contacted fire fighters who then rescued Sayina.

Sayina is reportedly in stable condition in hospital. Police have arrested Abibullah, who went into hiding after his misdeed.
