Budget 2025: My50 to be continued next year

PETALING JAYA: The RM50 unlimited monthly travel pass, My50, will be continued in 2025, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said the pass would continue to benefit 180,000 bus and rail users in the Klang Valley.

He also announced free bus fares for students of universities; polytechnics, community, and matriculation colleges, who use the stage bus service BAS.MY.

“RM3.942mil will also be used to subsidise the free travel pass initiative for students and disabled persons using KTM Komuter services,” he said.

He added that school students would soon be provided a RM0.50 one-way van commute to school.
