Fire that took Kajang teen's life caused by short circuit, say cops

KAJANG: The fire that killed a 17-year-old girl here was most likely caused by an electrical short circuit, according to district police.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said in a statement on Friday (Oct 18) that the previous day's blaze at a house in Saujana Impian broke out on the ground floor.

It then spread to the top floor, consuming more than half of the building, he added.
