> Actress and model Scha Alyahya says it is important for her to splurge a little to maintain her image and style for her career, Kosmo! reported.

“I know it is hard to spend a little extra, but as a celebrity, we must take care of our image. The public will see our image and it will stick,” said Scha, 41, the wife of actor Awal Ashaari, 43.

When she just started her career, she would spend money on a personal stylist.

“After a few years, I developed my own style so I would do it myself. I am not saying that you have to spend all your money, but you must be creative in fashion.

“Only after investing in my looks did people take me seriously in this industry,” said Scha, who has two daughters.
