BERUAS: Ummu Atiyah Ashaari, the eldest daughter of former Al-Arqam leader Ashaari Muhammad, took 30 minutes to show police the location where she claimed she had been detained at a Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB) village in Kampung Batu Hampar Dalam here on Sunday (Oct 20), Malay language daily Sinar Harian reports.

The 41-year-old arrived wearing a grey kebarung, accompanied by three friends in a Proton X70 SUV, at 2.38pm and departed at 3.07pm Sunday.

She was escorted by five police vehicles carrying 10 officers, led by Senior Investigating Officer Asst Supt N. Suder from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Taiping district police headquarters (IPD).

It was reported that she had arrived at the Padang Gajah police station in Trong at around 11am to give her statement.

She was then escorted to the location, identifying several sites as previously disclosed in a press conference to assist police investigations, Sinar Harian reported.

These included a room in a single-storey house where she claimed to have been held, as well as the surrounding area.

Before departing, Ummu Atiyah expressed gratitude and mentioned her return to Kuala Lumpur.

In a light-hearted manner, she requested that the media not disclose her vehicle's registration number, saying, "Thank you, we're heading back to KL (Kuala Lumpur). Please don't take the vehicle number."

Earlier, Ummu Atiyah alleged she had been a victim of rape by a GISB leader who tried to forcibly marry her. She also claimed to have been detained in the village, which is home to many teenagers and adults aged 13 years old and above.
