KUALA LUMPUR: Budget 2025 tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, also the Finance Minister, on Friday (Oct 18) is a budget for all Malaysians, with no community left out, said Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan.
He then lashed out at certain parties for claiming that the Indian community felt marginalised after being allocated RM130mil under Budget 2025.

"For the Indian community, the Prime Minister has said it so many times... not to divide (allocations according to communities)... (Certain parties) say only RM130mil has been given to the Indian community, does this mean the allocation provided for health is not for the Indian community? Indians won't get it?
"Is that what they mean? RM64bil for the Education Ministry... is education specifically for national schools or Chinese schools? No, (the allocation) is for all (communities),” he told a media conference after handing over a mock cheque for the BRIEF-i Financing programme here Monday (Oct 21).
As such, he reminded the Indian community not to be influenced by such allegations made by certain irresponsible parties and urged those involved in making the allegations to examine it (Budget 2025) properly before issuing any statements.
The media recently reported that the leader of an opposition party had questioned whether the RM130mil allocated to the Indian community as announced under Budget 2025 could empower and help raise their socio-economic status. - Bernama
