Expand TVET to equip workforce for advanced technologies, says Anwar


KUALA LUMPUR: The government has expanded Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to ensure Malaysia’s workforce is equipped to handle advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Recognising that technological advancement alone would not suffice and acknowledging the shortage of skilled labour, the Prime Minister said the government was committed to addressing this through robust training programmes and upskilling initiatives.
