Hindu students and educators to get online classes over Deepavali, says Ministry

PETALING JAYA: Students and educators of the Hindu faith in all public tertiary education institutes will have the option of attending classes online or in a hybrid format during the Deepavali week.

The Higher Education Ministry announced that these classes will be available from Oct 28 to 30 (Monday to Wednesday) and on Nov 1 (Friday).

This arrangement coincides with the Deepavali celebration on Oct 31.

"This implementation aims to facilitate students and educators of the Hindu faith in celebrating Deepavali with their families," stated the ministry.
