HONG KONG superstar Andy Lau (pic) has once again made his fans anxious during his “Today...is the Day” concert, this time at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, China Press reported.
It happened during one of the highlights of his performance on the first night of his concert tour in the country on Thursday.
The 63-year-old stood on a narrow platform that was raised more than 5m-high from the ground without a harness while singing his hit Jin Tian, putting fans on the edge of their seats throughout the act.
Lau’s world tour this year has been a tale of near-misses.
On Sept 9, Lau nearly fell into an open trapdoor, catching himself in time as he dropped to his hands and knees during his concert in Shenzhen, China.
On July 5 in Shanghai, he slid on his knees to the edge of an elevated platform, nearly falling off.
Lau returned to Malaysia for another concert after five years. His last performance here is tomorrow.
