Young girl drowns while playing in Kuala Selangor

KUALA SELANGOR: A six-year-old girl has drowned after playing near a drain in the Kampung Sungai Kajang Lama area.

In a statement, Kuala Selangor OCPD Supt Azaharudin Tajudin said a report was lodged on Saturday (Oct 26) after the girl was found unconscious.

Investigations revealed that the girl was playing on his bike near a drain.

“A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as drowning, and no injuries were found on the body,” he said.
