Dr Wee extends warm welcome to Ayer Hitam Wanita Umno delegation on Parliament visit

KUALA LUMPUR: Although unable to be present, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong extended a warm welcome to an Ayer Hitam Wanita Umno delegation to Parliament.

The Ayer Hitam MP, who couldn't be present as he was attending his uncle's funeral, shared photos and insights of their visit in a Facebook post Monday (Oct 28).

He said the group was led by the Ayer Hitam Wanita Umno chief Sarimah Mohd Rafie.

"I could not welcome them to Parliament as I was attending my uncle's funeral.

"However, my team accompanied the group during their visit," he said on his official Facebook page Monday.

The MCA president also said he had organised a lunch at a restaurant near Parliament for the delegation as well.

The group was seen exploring the Parliament building and posing for photos during their visit.
