Mas Ermieyati is Bersatu's new Srikandi chief

PETALING JAYA: Masjid Tanah MP Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin is Bersatu's new Srikandi (women's wing) chief for the 2024-2027 term.

Announcing the Srikandi and Srikandi Muda results at Bersatu headquarters on Monday (Oct 28), party election committee chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi said Mas Ermieyati was unopposed.

Nurul Ezzati Azmi from the Kapar division was named Srikandi Muda (young women's wing) chief and Nabila Norsahar was vice-chief.

Azim said 181 Srikandi and Srikandi Muda divisions conducted their respective conferences on Saturday (Oct 26) with 6,852 delegates attending in total.

He said his committee's task was not just to finalise summing up the votes received by the candidates but also to ensure that electoral procedures were followed.

"We also need to see that voting and vote counting procedures are carried out in an orderly manner at the wing's conferences across the country," he said.
