MetMalaysia: Thunderstorms, heavy rain expected across the country


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected all over Peninsular Malaysia and parts of Sabah and Sarawak, says the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

In a statement on Tuesday (Oct 29), it said adverse weather is expected until 5pm in Perlis; Kedah; Penang; Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang Dan Selama, Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang and Muallim); Kelantan (Jeli, Tanah Merah, Machang, Pasir Puteh and Kuala Krai); Terengganu (Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu and Marang); Pahang (Tanah Tinggi Cameron and Raub); Selangor (Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Petaling, Hulu Langat and Sepang); Kuala Lumpur; Putrajaya; Johor (Mersing, Kota Tinggi and Johor Baru); Sarawak (Miri and Limbang).
