King, Queen extend Deepavali greetings to all Hindus in Malaysia


KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, extended their Deepavali greetings on Wednesday (Oct 30) to Hindus in the country.

Their Majesties conveyed their wish through a post on the Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar Facebook page.

"May the light of Deepavali fill your life with joy, prosperity and happiness. Wishing you and your loved ones a bright and blessed Deepavali," the post read.

Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, will be celebrated by Hindus nationwide on Thursday. - Bernama
