KUALA LUMPUR: Six years after he was prosecuted, Datuk Seri Najib Razak will find out today whether he will be acquitted or called to enter his defence on charges involving some RM2.28bil from the coffers of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

Najib is not the only former prime minister at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex today as Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was seen arriving at the court complex at about 9.50am He is here for his defamation suit against Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Najib's wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor arrived at the court complex at 9.33am. When asked, she said her wish was for the best to Najib, her family and the people of Malaysia.
As proceedings begin in the High Court, members of the media are seen waiting near the main door of the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex, as a press conference is expected later.
