Dr Wee visits MIC President’s Deepavali open house, celebrates togetherness with other leaders


KUALA LUMPUR: In continuing the tradition of visiting each other during the festive season, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong visited MIC president Tan Seri SA Vigneswaran at his home on Deepavali day.

He was accompanied by MCA vice president Datuk Lawrence Low.

"Happy Deepavali to Tan Seri Vicky and his family," he said in his Facebook post.

Dr Wee also posted several pictures during his visit.

He also mentioned that the visit was cheerful with the presence of various segments of the community.

Among those present at Vigneswaran’s house were Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

Also present were Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Investment, Trade and Industry Minister (Miti) Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz and Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) president Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup.

Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, former Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammudin Hussein and former Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin were also present.

Dr Wee expressed that he was glad to have met many friends at Vigneswaran's house to celebrate the festive season together.
