KUALA LUMPUR: The landslide at Lembah Maju in Pandan Indah here is the second to hit the area, with a similar incident occurring on Oct 12.
E-hailing driver Adrian Untam, 44, whose car was damaged in the incident, said he got home at around 9pm and it was not raining then.

"At about 3.30am, my neighbour called me to tell me that my car fell into the rubble. That (the car) is my only source of income,” he told reporters on Monday (Nov 4).
Meanwhile, a Tanah Lembah Maju resident, 38-year-old Shaik Mohamed Sadiq Ali said he never expected another landslide to strike the same location.
He said landslides had never occurred in the 30 years he had been staying there but said he was now worried about the safety of his family and the other residents.
"Nowadays, if it rains, I get worried and will park my car far (away from the slopes and drains)," he said, adding that he hoped authorities would take heed of residents' concerns and will build some from of reinforcement in the area.
On Oct 12, prolonged heavy rain caused the riverbank at the same location to collapse, damaging two vehicles.
Meanwhile, Teratai assemblyman Yew Jia Haur confirmed that the public car park near the landslide location was closed for repair works.
"The Irrigation and Drainage Department (DID), through an appointed contractor, will carry out slope repair works.
"So far, the management of Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) is making efforts to distribute water to the 300 account holders around Lembah Maju following water supply disruption due to the landslide,” he told a media conference after visiting the area on Monday.
He said Air Selangor would provide six static tanks while water tanker lorries will be asked to be on standby for affected residents.
Yew said the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) built a barrier at the site after the first landslide incident on Oct 12 but some irresponsible parties had taken it down. – Bernama
