Indian hospital in hot water over bullying

A HOSPITAL in India is in hot water after allegedly forcing a pregnant woman to clean up her husband’s blood-stained hospital bed after he died, Makkal Osai reported.

Tharam Singh Maravi, 65, and his family from Madhya Pradesh reportedly had a longstanding land dispute with another family in their village in Lalpur.

A few days ago, Tharam Singh and his sons Raguraj and Sivaraj, both 40, were attacked brutally by unknown persons suspected to be related to the land dispute.

The older man and Raguraj both died at the scene while Sivaraj was admitted to hospital for treatment, but he too died at the hospital from the severe injuries.

A video went viral online showing his five months pregnant widow Rosheni seemingly cleaning up the blood-stained bed of her husband. This immediately caused an uproar against the hospital, which received a show-cause letter over the matter.

Seven people have been charged in relation to the killings.
