Leave door open for advice, says Hadi

KUALA LUMPUR: For justice to be upheld, the government must leave the door open for advice, says Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang.

“It is important to leave the door open for advice,” Abdul Hadi (PN-Marang) said while debating the Supply Bill 2025.

“We have 3R (race, religion and royalty) now where we cannot touch certain things,” he said.

The PAS president said humans are bound to have shortcomings and only advice can help them remedy this.

Abdul Hadi claimed if left unchecked, the government will continue to act against Opposition lawmakers including expelling them from Dewan Rakyat proceedings and subjecting them to police investigations.

“Even I have been investigated by the police several times and I have said that I will answer in court,” he added.

Abdul Hadi also took a swipe at the government over how it was formed following the 15th General Election.
