Sabah cops seek two individuals involved in brutal dog killing

KOTA KINABALU: Police are hunting for two people believed involved in the senseless killing of a dog in Keningau district.

As seen in a widely circulated video, a man was seen holding a stick at a car workshop, walking near a dog that was just sitting around quietly, not doing anything.

The man started walking near the dog before it struck the canine on its head, and repeatedly beat it until it went dead or unconscious.

It later pulled the dog's leg and ran off with it.

Another person was heard laughing and recording the incident.

The video was posted on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/share/v/aBqK5U6wSmjznFb4/, with some who shared the video claiming to receive death threats for putting up the video.

Keningau OCPD Supt Yampil Anak Garai said they had received a report on the dog killing case and is being investigated.
