Shock for Labuan car owner after he finds python in his vehicle


LABUAN: A car owner experienced a shock when he discovered a small python inside his car as he prepared to go to work on Thursday (Nov 8).

The man only noticed the reptile nestled in the dashboard display area after he started his engine around 7.20am at Kampung Sungai Labu, Labuan.

Civil Defence officials said they received a call to remove the snake at around 7.23am.

They arrived and caught the snake without any harm.

It is learnt that the snake was later released into the wild, far from human settlements.

The man proceeded to work after the scare.
