Worker beaten up for calling customer ‘uncle’

A MAN beat up a textile shop worker for addressing him as “uncle”, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Identified only as Rohit, the man had gone to the store in Bhopal city, Madhya Pradesh, with his wife.

Rohit then asked to see some sarees for her. A worker named Vishal attended to the couple.

At one point, Vishal called Rohit “uncle” while helping them. This had apparently rubbed Rohit the wrong way.

He scolded Vishal for addressing him as “uncle” in front of his wife. The couple then abruptly left the store.

The offended man later returned with a few of his friends. They dragged Vishal out of the shop and beat him up.

Police have registered a case against the assailant based on CCTV footage which had captured the entire incident.
