EPF records 20% increase in total investment income year-on-year at over RM57.5bil


PETALING JAYA: The Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) has recorded a total investment income of RM57.57bil for January to September period this year, a 20% increase year-on-year, says chief executive officer Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn.

EPF's investment income stood at RM19.67bil in the third quarter of 2024, an increase of RM5bil year-on-year.

In a statement, EPF's investment assets stood at RM1.2 trillion as of September 2024, with 62.2% allocated for local investments and 37.8% for international investments.

Of its total investment income, RM48.02bil was generated for conventional savings and RM9.55bil for syariah savings. - Bernama
