Missing elderly man found dead, say Sepang cops


SEPANG: A senior citizen who was reported missing here has been found dead.

In a statement Wednesday (Nov 13), Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Norhizam Bahaman said that the deceased, aged 76, was reported missing on Nov 8 after being last seen at home in Kampung Tanjong Mas.

“On Nov 12, a search party made up of police and other agencies, while also being assisted by members of the public and family members, found the body in a stream near a cement factory in Kampung Jelutong Indah.

“Investigations at the scene showed that the deceased had passed without any foul play involved.

“The case has been classified as a Sudden Death Report and the body has been sent to the Banting Hospital for a post mortem to determine the exact cause of death,”he said.
