Mohd Azmawi Fikri to be sworn in as Nenggiri assemblyman Nov 21


KOTA BARU: Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani is expected to be officially sworn in as Nenggiri assemblyman on Nov 21, says Kelantan Deputy Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamed Fadzli Hassan.

He said that the swearing-in ceremony would take place before the start of the state assembly sitting.

"The ceremony will be held on the first day of the State Legislative Assembly session, in conjunction with the tabling of the 2025 Kelantan Budget on Nov 21,” he told reporters after the State Executive Council meeting at the Kota Darulnaim Complex here on Wednesday (Nov 13).

Barisan Nasional recaptured the Nenggiri state seat on Aug 17 when Mohd Azmawi Fikri won by a majority of 3,352 votes.

The Kelantan Umno Youth chief garnered 9,091 votes, defeating Perikatan Nasional’s Mohd Rizwadi Ismail, who obtained 5,739 votes. - Bernama
