PM Anwar arrives in Peru for official visit, Apec leaders week


LIMA (Peru), Nov 13 - The aircraft carrying Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim landed at 11:50pm local time on Tuesday, marking the start of his official visit to this western South American nation. This visit also represents the Prime Minister’s first to the Latin American region since he took office in 2022. Upon arrival at the Military Airbase, he was welcomed with a Static Guard of Honour. LIMA: The aircraft carrying Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim touched down at 11.15pm local time on Tuesday, marking his official visit to the western South American country.

This is also the Prime Minister’s first to the Latin American region since assuming office in 2022.
