Fire razes Semenyih factory, two others badly damaged


KAJANG: A factory in Semenyih was completely destroyed by a fire, while two others sustained significant damage.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar reported that they received the distress call at 10.44am on Thursday (Nov 14).

"Twenty-seven firemen from six fire stations were dispatched to the scene," he stated on Thursday (Nov 14).

The fire was brought under control by 11.45am.

One factory was completely razed, with two others suffering 20% and 30% damage, respectively.

"No one was hurt during the incident," he added.
