A MAN in India killed his wife, cut up her body into eight parts and stuffed them into luggage bags before dumping them in a jungle, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The man, known only as Gobi, from Tamil Nadu, was married to Saranya, 29, but the couple reportedly had constant disagreements.

Saranya went missing the day before Deepavali following an argument.

Gobi apparently lodged a missing persons report after the couple’s three children began asking about their mother.

Saranya’s family was shocked to learn about her disappearance when police questioned them.

Her relatives then spoke to her children, who revealed that their father had told them that Saranya had gone to her parents’ house.

The family grew suspicious of Gobi and lodged a police report against him.

He apparently ran away when he knew police were going to question him.

His mother, Sivagami, eventually confessed about what happened to Saranya and led police to where her body parts had been dumped.
