Entrepreneurship programmes can inspire students, says Dr Wee

JOHOR BAHRU: Programmes such as 'Entrepreneurship Day' cultivate students' interest and provide early exposure to entrepreneurship, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"Congratulations to the principal of SMK Datuk Menteri Ayer Hitam, Datin Zamhirah Osman, teachers and the parents-teachers association for this commendable initiative," Dr Wee stated on Facebook on Sunday (Nov 17).

"Hopefully, it can be continued in the future and contribute to the development of successful entrepreneurs one day."

"I also had the opportunity to tour the school's surroundings, including the history gallery, library, STEM room, and teachers' lounge."

Dr Wee noted that the beautiful design and renovations of these spaces are the result of the creativity of the teachers and students.

Meanwhile, the Ayer Hitam MP allocated RM20,000 for the refurbishment of special rooms and the purchase of equipment, in addition to RM3,000 for the school's PIBG as food assistance for students sitting for the SPM 2024 exams.
