MetMalaysia: Severe weather expected until 7pm today in West coast of peninsular, Sabah, Sarawak


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in parts of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak until 7pm on Tuesday (Nov 19).

The Meteorology Malaysia Department (MetMalaysia) issued a warning at 4pm of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in Kedah (Langkawi, Sik and Baling), Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung and Kinta), Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Negri Sembilan (Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau).,

Severe weather is also expected in Sarawak: Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu, Miri (Telang Usan and Marudi) and Limbang, as well as in Sabah: Interior (Sipitang, Tenom, Nabawan and Keningau), West Coast (Ranau), Tawau (Tawau) and Sandakan (Tongod, Telupid and Sandakan).
