60% off traffic summonses at Two Years of Madani Government programme

PETALING JAYA: Motorists can get up to 60% off their traffic summonses at the upcoming Two Years of Madani Government (2TM) programme beginning Friday (Nov 22).

The programme, to mark the second anniversary of the Madani government, will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 9am to 6pm every day from Nov 22 until Nov 24.

Neither the criteria for discounts nor types of offences eligible for the discount have been revealed by the Home Ministry, based on an official post by The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Facebook page on Wednesday (Nov 20).

The campaign will also coincide with the National Convention on Civil Service Reform 2024 for civil servants featuring presentations on upcoming plans for the civil service reform agenda.

The three-day event will also see several recreational activities for the public, including a career carnival, helmet exchange programme, Madani sales, and free health checks.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is also scheduled to officiate the event before leaving on his official diplomatic trip to South Korea.
