JPJ to introduce road tax expiry notifications on MyJPJ app

KUALA LUMPUR: The Transport Ministry, through the Road Transport Department (JPJ), plans to introduce a notification feature on the MyJPJ app to alert users of their Motor Vehicle Licence (LKM) expiry dates.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the notification function would be available soon.

"Improvements to the MyJPJ app will be made in phases based on priority and allocated funding," he said during an oral question-and-answer session in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (Nov 20).

He was responding to a question from Mohd Hasnizan Harun (PN-Hulu Selangor) on measures taken by the ministry to issue reminders to vehicle owners since the digital road tax system no longer requires a physical road tax sticker to be displayed. – Bernama
