Pregnant woman among three killed in Cyberjaya car crash

CYBERJAYA: Three people, including a pregnant woman, died after their car skidded off the road near IOI Putrajaya, here, on Thursday (Nov 21), Malay language daily Sinar Harian reports.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said they were informed of the incident at 12.10am Thursday.

According to him, a team from the Cyberjaya fire and rescue station was then rushed to the location.

"There were four victims, all Malaysians aged between 20 and 40 years old, comprising two men and two pregnant women in the car.

"The car carrying the victims is believed to have skidded off the road," he told Sinar Harian on Thursday.

He said that one woman was reported to be in critical condition and was rushed to Putrajaya Hospital.

He added that the other three, two men and a woman, were confirmed dead.

"All victims have been handed over to the police for further action," he said.
