Water levels at three major Kelantan rivers surpass alert levels


KOTA BARU: Water levels at three major Kelantan rivers have exceeded their respective alert levels as of 1pm on Thursday (Nov 21).

According to the publicinfobanjir.water.gov.my portal, the three rivers are Sungai Kelantan at Kampung Sokor, Tanah Merah, at 18.43m compared to the alert level of 18m; Sungai Golok at Rantau Panjang, at 7.38m, surpassing the alert level of 7m; and Sungai Semerak in Pasir Puteh, which hit the warning level of 2.47m this morning, but has receded to the alert level at 2.02m.

Water levels at all other rivers in Kelantan were recorded at normal levels. - Bernama
