King celebrates 66th birthday with family in Johor


JOHOR BARU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, has marked his birthday with a simple, yet meaningful celebration with his loved ones.

According to a post on His Majesty's official Facebook page, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, celebrated the special day with a luncheon with their family and grandchildren.

Present at the special event to celebrate His Majesty's 66th birthday were Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, Che' Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor and their children.

Also present were Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar Ibni Sultan Ibrahim as well as Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim and her husband Datuk Dennis Muhammad Abdullah, along with their children.

Earlier, His Majesty also granted an audience to Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and several other state leaders.

His Majesty was greeted by Onn Hafiz, Johor Council of Royal Court president Datuk Dr Abdul Rahim Ramli and state secretary Tan Sri Dr Azmi Rohani, upon arriving at Istana Bukit Serene.

Also present were Johor speaker Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi, members of the Johor Royal Court Advisory Council, and state executive councillors.
