Sungai Bakap rep sworn in


GEORGE TOWN: Sungai Bakap's newly elected assemblyman Abidin Ismail has been sworn in at the state assembly sitting on Friday (Nov 22).

He was sworn in during the state assembly sitting at 9.30am.

Abidin, 56, of Perikatan Nasional, won the seat during the state by-election in July.

The by-election was held following the death of incumbent Nor Zamri Latiff on May 24.
