DPM Fadillah flags off TNB night walk and run


PUTRAJAYA: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof took part in a 3km walk commencing from Anjung Floria here as part of the Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) Energy Night Walk and Run 2024, which attracted 2,788 participants.

Fadillah, who also serves as the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister, had earlier flagged off 1,712 runners for the event's 7.5km run.

The event's second edition was held in celebration of TNB's 75th anniversary, under the theme 'Reflecting on Progress, Embracing the Future.'

Participants were flagged off at 8.30pm before Fadillah joined the walk 15 minutes later.

TNB chairman Tan Sri Abdul Razak Abdul Majid and TNB president and CEO Datuk Megat Jalaluddin Megat Hassan were also in attendance.

The TNB Energy Night Walk and Run 2024 offered participants the chance to appreciate the beauty of illuminated night scenes in the government administration centre along various routes, including Lebuh Setia, Jambatan Seri Setia, Jambatan Seri Ehsan, and Lebuh Saujana. – Bernama
